Being a hip hop head when IDM hit, BOC and Prefuse73 kinda blew my mind. Their influence on the hip hop beat scene was gigantic. Obviously Prefuse73 leans more hip hop than IDM, whereas BOC leans more IDM than hip hop, but BOC also has no problems using pretty straight forward hip hop beats. As far as I'm concerned, Music Has The Right To Children and Vocal Studies + Uprock Narratives are masterpieces, and I really REALLY don't say that lightly. Aaaand Aphex Twin's Windowlicker needs a mention methinks.
