Speaking for myself as an artist,
I have yet to find a label/company/person to do PR in the way that I think
should be, which means that if I want the job done right I must do it
myself, however, I would, at normal, prefer a company to do PR for me, so I
can concentrate on the music...

maybe the artists should speak up instead of letting rag PR publications
that have more content in advertising space than subject matter hype them
into oblivion, or think people think that they're cool being in a hummer
advert for instance.
