Hello list,
given the following conversation that at least some of you should be familiar with:
They: "What kind of music do you like?"
You: "Electronic music."
They: "Oh, techno? I love that, too."
You: "Well, not really techno... let me show you."
Assuming you'd think .oO(IDM), pick three tracks from the top of your head and/or the bottom of your heart to help them understand. They don't need to be the "best" tracks (whatever that means) or the most popular (who cares), but what you think is somewhat suitable for a nonverbal/acoustic definition of your perspective of what's going in this part of the universe. (I know it's difficult. Maybe it should be albums instead of tracks or five or fifty instead of three, but for the sake of simplicity...) I start, in no particular order:
