Ghostly Recommendations: First off, I've recently heard the Lusine and Aeroc (Geoff White) full lengths on Ghostly, which should be dropping soon and I must they're both truly ground-breakingly beautiful. Some of the most original electronic music to come out of the U.S. ever (sounds extreme I know). As for Ghostly/Spectral releases, here's a few recommendations: -Various - "Idol Tryouts" (great comp featuring a wide variety of Ghostly talent) -Kill Memory Crash - "When Blood Turns Black (wicked industrial IDM) -Twine - "S/T" (lush guitar based ambient, beautiful) -Matthew Dear - "Leave Luck For Heaven" (pop-techno, funky as shit) -Solvent - "Radio Ga Ga, Pts 1 & 2" (for those who indulge in Morr Music type of electro pop) -Dabrye - !!!EVERYTHING!!! (best instrumental hip hop on the planet...ask Prefuse 73) -Various - "SMM Vol. 1 (gorgeous EP from the mellow guitarbient side of Ghostly) -Midwest Product - "World Series of Love" (great rock/pop based electronica with plenty of soul) -Lusine - "Push EP" (Lusine doing tech house....sick!!!) These should get you started. I can honestly say I've purchase everything Ghostly/Spectral have put out and I am yet to be disappointed.
