The original Lee & Nancy song was released in 1967, the year of David's
birth; Tangerine Dream released Phaedra in 1974, the same year Klaus
Schulze released Blackdance, an album which featured a song called Some
Velvet Phasing.
David decided he'd add to the in-joke, and at the same time, pay homage to
some of his biggest influences.
