here's an answer from gabe@merck: "we set our prices to match our distributor prices so that we dont undercut our partners in business. Merck shipping is a flat $4.00 as well, its just that when you order more than 2 cds, we also reduce the price of each cd as well. So you really arent losing anything by ordering from us." .. the few extra bucks that don't go to the distributor/outlet go towards keeping the label running and releasing music you just might like, so i wouldn't call it unfair. juho On Fri, 6 Feb 2004 phase@booyaka.com wrote:
