a quick recommendation
somatic responses - adverts 2CD
its excellent stuff. its hard for me to praise somatic responses anymore, because
i've been heavily into their numerous releases over the years (on hymen, component, casse-tete, six-shooter, etc...)
this double disc treads alot of the same ground you heard on their previous albums,
but the sheer number of cuts lets them hit the full breadth of their sound, from
rich, evolving ambience, to grinding futuristic mechanization backed by evolving synthetic orchestration,
to morose syths over some of the sickest broken-beat "hardcore" ever designed.
they balance atmosphere, melody and percussion better than any other
hard electronic act that i know of. but this album is even more three dimentional
than some of their others.
