Props to N.E.D. for putting together a logical set of warp favs that hit all the high points -- some []< , some Prefuse, some Autechre, I think I caught an early Black Dog track towards the end.. all sounded great on the big speakers, especially rpeg with the big wet splashy snare. I agree about Chris, he tore it up. It seemed like he'd really put some thought into what would make a visually and sonically interesting live set. I loved his "dolphin speech" realtime vocal manipulations :-) I thought the CNN vid was technically cool; I figure they had a video capture setup and grabbed a two or three seconds out of every minute. Somehow they managed to skip the commercials. Based on what you & others have said, I'm sort of glad we decided to take off at the end of Plaid's set. It was a long drive back and my ears had taken enough abuse, even through the plugs.
