Had an absolutly magical day in Portmerion myself. I had a .. erm ...
special yoghurt before hand and got a steam train (!) though the
mountains which stopped right next to Portmerion. Spent a good part of
the day just wondering around the village and the woods, completly
surreal place, made even weirder by mental images of Rover appearing.
The only downside is that the photo company lost all our holiday photos
so I only have my own cloudly memory to remember the place by.
