Now we're talking. The Prisoner has to be my favourite TV show of all
time, the weirdness, the anger, the paranoia, the look, the feel, the
Brave-New-World-ness, the relevance to today, rover, Portmerion. I agree
that it subversive,
There's a whole page devoted to Prisoner inspired music (which includes
Iron Maiden believe it or not) but it's not complete, it doesn't
mention even The Prisoners for example.
I can't think of any direct IDM Prisoner stuff, the page does mention a
group called Dream Into Dust who released a Prisoner tribute a few years
back. It was stupidly limited so i don't have a copy but from what I can
make out it they appear to be dark ambient or something along the lines.
There's probably been loads of cheesy dance tracks throughout the years
which sample The Prisoner, especially the intro speech but I think I
could live without hearing them.
