I'm shocked actually that it's taken them *this* long to up the quality of their MP3s from 128k to 192k VBR but Im not sure when this happened. I imagine it was only in the past few months.
Im curious - have any of you noticed a substantial increase in sound quality?
Is it worth becoming a subscriber again ?
Anything else new and improved with their service in the past 2 years? I subscribed when it first came out and spent about a month downloading every single track from the "electronic" category - many of which I notice are no longer available
FYI - They are using LAME 3.92 -alt-preset standard for encoding
