quoted 3 lines can anyone recommend a place to buy some techno (in the glitchy, minimal>can anyone recommend a place to buy some techno (in the glitchy, minimal >vein) in new york city? i am here only for a day or two, but i would like >to come away with some new records...
- other music (othermusic.com) on 4th st. between broadway and lafayette - etherea on avenue a at 4th st. (maybe 5th? - ethereaonline.com) - sonic groove on carmine st. west of 6th ave. (sonicgroove.com) - vinyl market on e. 10th st. at 1st ave. (vinylmarket.org) i find sonic groove to be less busy early in the day like before 2 or 3. you might get more help then. kazu at vinyl market is always really helpful. the tall asian guy at other music knows the electronic music well; the other employees are too busy looking cool. etherea's employees are weird and too hip to help you, unfortunately.. but they've usually got good records. there might be others, but those are the best spots i know. i'd like to hear more if anybody has recommendations. peace! - sean _______________________________________________________________________ Sent via Pace University's WebMail system at stmail.pace.edu --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
