Well, if you are a mac person and you NEED to have a laptop, then that's probably the best choice. I saw the new 17" powerbook laptop at a store the other day and its size is almost comical. Its kind of a ridiculous laptop.
Video/Audio production is a little bit vague so I'm not sure exactly what our needs are, but in case you don't necessarily need all the portability that goes with a laptop and you might want a PC, I'd reccomend a Shuttle (us.shuttle.com). I recently built one of these computers and I think its amazing and for my needs (which includes the occasional video projection/installation), its portable enough to easily put in a duffle bag to get it to point B. These little computers are the future!
