I'm a pro tools die hard and my latest project was done completely on Pro
Tools. It's all a matter of how you use the program to achieve results.
Logic is a fantastic piece of software but when it comes to cutting up audio
Pro Tools is far superior. Granted some VST plugs can do stuttering effects
and things of that sort very easily, but nothing beats the surgical
precision of doing it all by hand. I barely use midi. All my songs are
constructed from arranging audio on the grid and then slicing it all to
shreds. And for that style of production, I think Pro Tools is a really
solid platform. Give it a chance. It'll blow you away.
