How can you be concerned about people blocking emergency vehicles, when there are another type of vehicle thats sole purpose is the destruction of life on the warpath? Would you rather people sit back and not exercise their rights while we send of young Americans to go die trying to kill young Iraqis in order to keep money flowing into the pockets of the ruling class? It sounds a bit reactionary, and hypocritical. Unjustified wars would not be fought if we had leaders that were looking out for our interest, and not their own pocketbooks. If the populace was educated and informed we would have better leaders. You are the populace, you chose your amount of education and information. If unjustified wars were not fought their would be no need for protest. If there were no protest then emergency vehicles would not be being blocked. Blame the source of the problem not the outcomes. Or would you prefer to live the life of comfort and apathy they have set up for us so we will not question, and only submit to the latest information being spoon fed to us through mother media? I have no disagreement with you that people should do more volunteer work, that is a very nobel cause. I am guessing you have put your hours in recently. It is also sad that emergency vehicles have been delayed, and that some have been hurt in the protest, but lets not let that overshadow the hundreds that have already died and the thousands more that probably will meaninglessly die in a pointless war. Lets also not let it overshadow our right, no our obligation, to stand up against moral injustices committed by our government. thank you, zach
