He is great. His track Seven Sacred Pools from the School Daze compilation is one of my favorite chill out tunes - sounds fresh today even though it was made in the 70s. Also should be noted that as Giorgio Moroder was to Donna Summer, Patrick Cowley was to Sylvester. A massive talent and massively overlooked.
