okay, i'm sure you've heard this one before....
i've read the list for a while, even posted a few times, but today i approach with a serious question:
how do i get started making idm??????
i've got a lot of ideas and no money, i've tried fruityloops but it seems to limiting, i mean i've made a few little crappy songs but it seems like every time i get an idea for something, i spend three hours trying to get the right sound for the first note (with whatever combination of freeware i'm playing with at the time), until i get too frustrated and just listen to venetian snares instead/
any thoughts???
