I for one am glad that the messages forming this thread have been posted. It
was in my intention to participate in the next demonstration against the
Bush administration's planned war in Iraq but I wasn't informed about the
specifics.
The messages and URLs posted here gave me incentive to be much more
proactive (arrgh... I actually used the word) about this extremely important
issue. I took note of the specifics on the demonstration planned here in
Montreal (for the Montrealers that might be on this list: same date as
everywhere else, obviously [February 15], Square Dorchester ->
Peel/René-Lévesque; starts at 1 PM); I documented myself a bit more; as we
speak, I'm printing tracts publicizing the demonstration which I will
distribute/display in my Faculty. Etc. etc./more to follow.
Spread the word! Say NO to war!
