Er, what? ... Do you mean yours has Digital _In_ via USB?
I was actually doing research on this the other day, looking around
minidisc.org, and I wasn't able to find _one_ modern (ATRAC 3.5+)
portable OR deck with any kind of digital output (USB, Optical, SPDIF,
whatever). Real disappointing... Did I miss something?
I actually purchased an Archos Jukebox Recorder (MP3 w/ 20 Gig HDD) in
hopes of finally ditching MD, but ended up taking it back. Not only does
it not have a Mic level input (just line. you'd need an expensive preamp
to get anything sounding acceptable), but it's overall recording quality
was crrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaapppppppppppppppppppp. Highly NOT
recommended.
