out there? it seems like something that would be of interest. If you want glitch, go back to the source and hear real deal crackles and hiss. Of course, Lee Perry, but my vote is for King Tubby, who's a bit more expansive, who's cool with a pretty little piano solo in the middle of the din, and who seemed to take more time with dubs than Perry did. I'm not knocking Lee Perry — without him, where would we be? — but damn if Tubby doesn't get my imagination working overtime more often. And as far as new stuff, I love the Sandoz record on Soul Jazz; where Pole and ~scape stuff is more contemplative, Sandoz just barrels through the dubs with a ton of momentum.
