If you want glitch, go back to the source and hear real deal crackles and hiss. Of course, Lee Perry, but my vote is for King Tubby, who's a bit more expansive, who's cool with a pretty little piano solo in the middle of the din, and who seemed to take more time with dubs than Perry did. I'm not knocking Lee Perry — without him, where would we be? — but damn if Tubby doesn't get my imagination working overtime more often.
And as far as new stuff, I love the Sandoz record on Soul Jazz; where Pole and ~scape stuff is more contemplative, Sandoz just barrels through the dubs with a ton of momentum.
