This is probably correct. And I should amend my last post concerning may
past with the qualifier that I really couldn't estimate how much I had
ingested at one sitting as who knows how much they blotted onto those Mr.
Natural men, windowpanes and cubes.
I just know the men had perforations for quartering them and even a quarter
seemed at least twice as powerful as a lot of what was available then
(69-72). And I did a few whole "men" at once from some particularly good
batches. Mind you, I was in a "safe" environment and I would not suggest
anyone tries this at home. I was a professional driver in a closed course
(then :-).
Maybe that's why I see Huxley as more the prophet.
