At the end of that thread it mentions that Propaganda have recently reformed with the original members, but without Claudia. :/ They had also reformed in 1998-2000 with Claudia, but without Ralf Doerper, recorded a new single with a fairly high-budget video ("No Return"), and were working on a new album. You can still download a clip of the video (QuickTime format) and a free MP3 of a new remix of "Duel" from http://www.propaganda.de/ The music in the video clip was promising.. too bad that's all we get! The story of that earlier breakup, from http://www.p-fan.de/ : Friday . 11 January 2002 Now its official: Propaganda has broken up again ! Claudia Brucken has said "The reunion was worth a try, but did not work out." She is now focusing her work with Paul Humphreys and Andrew Poppy. Some tracks were written and produced, but the third line up is still called off. I talked to Michael and he even give me the same information. He said there were too much problems with their work: the location of the members and their work in their daily business. Exhaustive discographies are at http://www.p-fan.de/ and http://www.swcp.com/lazlo-bin/discogs?ztt There's a Propaganda mailing list at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/mabuse/ (ugh.. Yahoo Groups...) There's a mailing list for ZTT fans at http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/ztt ...it's rather low traffic these days but has been around since 1994. Old archives are at http://www.xmission.com/pub/lists/ztt/archive/ and new ones are linked from the URL above. Also... star-struck interview time. 'When The Funk Hits The Fan' is one of the best albums ever. I remember reading that it was going to be the first part of a trilogy and that as part of this trilogy you were planning to do an album dedicated to your electronic dance influences. 'Re-Members Only' was great, but seemed to take a different direction. Is there still something in the works techno/house/idm-wise? Mike -- Mike J.
