1. All the IDM 40-somethings come out of the woodwork. 2. They all go off on a tangent about their favorite prog-rock, i.e. what they listened to in their misspent *cough*BONG*cough* youth. I still think "Before and After Science" by Brian Eno kicks all the prog-rocker's asses. And if that doesn't do it "Taking Tiger Mountain by Strategy" And yes I'm a 40-something and yes (Yes?) I listened to all that stuff in my teens. It all kind of went over the side of the lifeboat after the first Ramones record though. I had the most schizoid record collection circa 1977 -- 1/3 Jazz, 1/3 German Electronica, 1/3 Punk/New Wave. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
