Of the three Merzbow releases I've purchased. '1930', 'Music for Bondage
Performance 2' and 'Door Open at 8 am',, the only recording I've ever found
my self going back to is 'Door...'. It is Merzbows homage to jazz drummers.
As such, it incorporates a lot of samples from older jazz recordings.
Because of the samples, there is a stronger presence of things like 'beat',
'melody', and 'song structure'. Attributes which Akita has often been too
willing to forgoe in other recordings.
