Mortal & Chemist are a duo from the east coast of the US. Nothing to do with Autechre. They have also contributed a track or two to some compilations over the last year or so.
The 12" they had out was on Skam sub-label 33, which has recently put out it's second release by Dr. Derek F (Darrel Fitton aka Bola). Both 12"s were limited to 1000 copies.
