Battery Operated (C0C0S0L1DC1T1, BipHop) - They have just finished an album with Made from the
Skam Label (which will appear on Bip Hop) and are touring the album with Neotropic, Kaffe Mathews
and Gescom in 2003. They are on the BipHop Generation 6 Compilation and are releasing an album
through C0C0S0L1DC1T1 this year with collaborations on it from Pretty Boy Crossover,
Richard.H.Kirk, Sachiko.M, Freiband and Gate amongst others.
Mitchell Akiyama - (Raster Noton, Substractif, C0C0S0L1DC1T1) will be doing a solo performance as
well as doing video work for Identification for the Scalene project. He has just released an album on
Raster Noton to much critical acclaim.
Identification (C0C0S0L1DC1T1) (also known as DJ Luv for the Ninja Tune label ) He has his first
album out now on C0C0S0L1DC1T1 called Identify which is a mixture of slanted melodies
punctuated by scatterbeat rhythms. He has played and toured with many acts such as Amon Tobin,
Autechre, Coldcut and Two Lone Swordsmen.
Private Benjamin - Hailing from Australia, this turntablist is somewhere between Marclay and
Yoshihide, with a side dish of beat juggling. He was part of the Deck Collectors world champion beat
juggling and general weirdness team. He also plays with High Pass Filter from Melbourne who have
toured and played with numerous acts from the Beastie Boys to Tortoise to The Mad Professor.
Emma McRae The Melbourne based video maker has her work released through
C0C0S0L1DC1T1 on the new Parapulse Tuck compilation and on the Scalene project CD. Fresh out
of the blocks she is already receiving attention for he meticulous and beautifully crafted work.
beewoo She has been making award winning video for Battery Operated for 2 years and has had
her work shown in major art Festivals all around the world as well as in Museums, galleries, clubs
and too many festivals too mention. Recently her video work was shown at SONAR in Barcelona.
