my first idm record i listened to, was a track from the "selected ambient works vol. 2".
i downloaded the track last winter with kazaa by mistake (someone renamed the file)
the last 5 years i listened strictly to all kind of jamaican music. since that download i haven`t spent much money on jamaican releases...

I don't know if this has been done before, but do people remember their 'first time' listening to IDM. Mine was Aphex Twin's Didgeridoo on 12", and Autechre's 'Foil' from Amber on CD... It's been a long time since then....
