my guess would be a some kind of overdrive or distortion over some cut up
drum sounds or perhapse ptched samples of someone beating cans with
sticks...it doesnt seem like brain surgery to me, although some of the
simplest techniques have been used to create scores of albums. lets face it,
without the "power chord" the grunge years would have never existed (for
better or worse).
