i'll get bashed for this, but i would argue that the first prodigy album
actually was quite influential. "experience" has some of the hardest,
fastest, sickest breakbeats ever devised, which for 1992 was quite unheard
of, at least to me. i remember hating it the first time i listened to it -
too fast! too much! - but i gradually came around. now i think it's a
classic.
