yeah.
I think anyone that says, autechre must be cheap snobby and lazy for not
having gimmicky life-preserver visuals at their show, never had a clue
about
their music to begin with at all. Anyone that thinks Amber is their
best
album, and shrugs off the evolution of Confield, doesnt have a clue
anymore,
anyone that would get the dvd and just skip to the videos with minimal
interest in the tracks themselves, probably will never get a clue. On
one
hand, I am kind of suprised, but on another, I am not suprised by these
benignmizings at all.
"Hey people, lets go to that autechre concert for a real nice night out
on
the town where we can be social and see cool light shows and artsy
abstract
visuals and where I can wear my cool IDM fashion gear..."

Has anyone else picked up on how people how say Amber is their best
usually fail to appreciate ae? I think these people are rather stubborn
or uncurious or lacking in patience to listen to the later ae, which imo
are always evolutions, and offer many more interesting things than in
Amber. basically I think amber lovers are narrowminded.
