hey all,
was just watching the new videogames-only TV channel G4 (g4tv.com), since it
just launched here in the Bay Area. they're showing the classic
videogame-gameshow, "Starcade" (the episode just on had the contestants
playing 'Mappy', and 'Burgertime' to win an 'Amidar' machine!)
anyhow, i was somewhat surprised to learn that the 'new' intro music to the
show (or at least, the G4 ident that appeared before the show came on)
seemed to be a re-recorded version of 'Rewind' by Cylob, with lyrics about
going back in time to see Starcade, or something.
is this an official Cylob jingle? or was it a 'borrow' without permission?
it certainly sounded VERY similar. just thought idmlist should know :P
