Ogg vorbis, welcome to the audio of the future, its an open format, so you
can read the source code and decoders/encoders have the source freely
available. CD, DVD, Mp3, these are all commercial formats with patents
owned by commercial entities and subject to the whims of the market. Ogg
vorbis will be with us for millenia to come because its non-commercial, so
and non-patented.
