Architecture is experienced not only thru space, but
thru time as well. Music is experienced thru time. A
building is a story that is experienced thru time as
you walk thru it.Perhaps the relationship between
certain architectural elements translated into time
could be a possible approach to translating music into
architecture.
Architecture's visual features also contain rhythm,
datum and proportions, also found in music. Certain
rhythms create harmony, not only in music, but also in
the visual realm. Thiss all goes back to mathematics
and proportions and harmony...which of course, both of
these subjects inherently contain. TRUU!
