true true true - i stand corrected. but damn, what a good record.
also, i completely forget to mention kettel. so very much in the
idm/hip-hop vein.
pick up the tadley management ep on planet mu and the cenny ep (album
sampler?) on dub.
i'm also really looking forward to his full length on neo ouija "smiling
little cow" (though i wasn't too taken with the red pear ep on the same
label, at least not compared to the other eps)
i think that kettel is one of the best up-and-coming artists around right
now. although his output can be somewhat spotty, when it's on it is SO on.
and when it's on, he's got an impeccable sense of melody with nice hard
hitting crunchy beats all blended with just the right amount of hip-hop
flava.
