Anybody heard the new album, Loudboxer? Both Vice Magazine and CMJ like it.
I picked up the Bugmod 12" the other day. It's quite obviously a 'part 2' of
the Kreck 12" released earlier this year, in both artwork (tDR) and in
sound. Both are in his slammin' dancefloor techno mode, where he's sounding
dangerously close to Surgeon. Which is to say as far as techno goes, I'm
digging it.
The reviews I've seen of the album say that the first record is more
minimal, experimental, IDMish. The second record is supposed to be more of
the dancy pounding techno.
Sounds like a good mix to me. I can't wait to hear it. I think it's supposed
to be out in stores this week.
