Shame that it got cancelled, we played w/Bola last night here in Chicago. His set was pretty amazing; the accompanying video is simply hypnotic. Darrell is a completely stand up fellow; given the difficulties related to this tour, he was 100 times more good-natured than I would have been in the same situation. Anybody who does have a chance to see either of the 2 remaining shows on this tour should go. The most amazing thing was he programmed all his synth patches from scratch on a borrowed synth 90 minutes before the show started and then played all the parts himself ... that's rare in today's "push-play-on-laptop-and-nod" live electronica universe... Anyway thanks to the people who showed up in Chicago :) Josh -- -- String Theory -- http://www.enteract.com/~yoshi/index.cgi -- String Theory's Anhedonia CD/LP available at finer music stores worldwide --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
