a set of the old-school classics that marked the genesis of Detroit Techno:
Kraftwerk, George Clinton, Afrika Bambaata, and Shari Vari. The playing
was all live except for rhythm tracks. All of us headz in the back were
in heaven, but the majority of the crowd acted baffled. AUXMEN could have
gotten a huge reaction if they'd done more of their own banging electro, but
I think they really were trying to educate people about the roots of techno,
and have a funky party at the same time.
dark banging techno guy busting melon grins at the decks, but in this
case the fun they were having translated to the crowd.<<
Oh man, I missed it royally then.......I would have loved to hear Auxmen
drop
Kraftwerk.......fucking goof-balls need to learn some history it sounds like
to me.....
What the hell is going on in this goofy society, everybody is about
frontin...
Man when I am on the spin wheels I am cheesing from ear to ear, especially
when
I drop something that I wanna drop. Straight-faced & straight fake is the
word for most
cats Williams....
Me, Banks, Tucker, Lig, Churchill, Harden, Crocker, Puffet, Fowlkes and
several others should have a set......just to see who could rock it in the
most sublime, melodic way-......
I swear to you, I never seen somebody have as good of a time as Eddie
Fowlkes.......full of energy,
he was tearing shit up.............
