It's hardly 1000, but it's pretty big anyway :) And sorry to have neglected that you can listen to just about anything at *both* stores. Including vinyl. To Phase's email, you're spot-on about the alpha as being conducive to long bouts of fun sorting (and I do that quite often there), but if you're in the mood for something from a particular genre/style/period, it can often be overwhelming to see that many CDs in alpha order unless you already know all the artists/groups that belong to that genre. At 33 Degrees, it's a little easier to navigate by genre. But Waterloo's vinyl and CD comps are grouped loosely by style, so that's a nice one. I'm an advocate for both...
