Um, the involvement of Alva Noto is pretty obvious... so it's probably not a good starting point if you just want to check out Opiate's material. I like it, but it's not something I think to listen to very often. Should be sound clips at http://www.raster-noton.de anyway. All tracks are similar, so whatever is up there should give you a good impression of the whole. :) Although there isn't really an album out there that's indicative of Opiate's current style, you can download free tracks of his from http://www.systemf3.com as well as stuff from one of his bands, Future 3. So far as I know they're all exclusive to that site, so definitely worth checking out even if you have heard some Opiate material already.
