Not like Flanger, but analogue electronica meets jazz is Tied and Tickled Trio - first two albums are excellent - a little like the aural equivalent of steampunk. With the emphasis more on jazz than electronics though containing elements of the latter I'd recommend: Supersilent, Eivind Aarset's latest (Light Extracts), Nils Petter Molvaer, Erik Truffaz (The Mask) - though these are a different kettle of fish. Enjoying the Liebezeit/Friedman album a lot though it's strangely understated and takes quite a while to sink in. All the best, Colin.
