well... i understand that you wouldn't want to be categorized and labeled as 'female,' but in terms of "perspectives"... i mean, isn't it interesting to talk to a white country hick about urban black music? isn't it interesting to talk to a mexican immigrant that loves heavy metal? and this is not to say that females that like electronic music are this seemingly contradictory, it's just that different perspectives offer us insights. i love the feelings that, thanks to music-related insights, i'm slowly fleshing out this gigantic puzzle in my own way. that my understandings of various genre classifications are slowly blurring together naturally, representing their actual state of coexistence. -brain fart
