I think the Delay comparison/recommendation is very apt. My opinion about the Jelinek record differs from what I've heard the majority of people say. I picked it up after all the praise I saw, even from people whose tastes I trust, but wasn't impressed. I actually got rid of it. I'd much rather listen to Delay's records, who I thought it sounded very similar to. I thought it had too much of what I call a "fashion boutique house" feel, the kind of stuff they'd play at like an Armani store or sumthin. That kind of music where the harmony is just static minor seventh chords modulating up and down really annoys me. It's the ultimate cliche when dance music people try to sound "jazzy".
