I just read a little interview with Bob Mould (ex- of Husker Du and Sugar)
previewing his show in Toronto next week, and it mentioned that he used a
lot of electronics on his new album, "Modulate".
I followed up with a websearch and found the site of his own indie label,
Granary Music. There I discovered that in addition to "Modulate", he's
also recently released a disc under the project name LoudBomb which is a
pure electronic record which is described as "chilled ambient beats to
early '80s funk pop, from found-sound breakbeat to heavy distorted house".
As someone who was a fan of both the Du and Sugar back in the day, I'm
really interested in knowing how these albums are. So has anyone here
checked them out?
