Since we are/were on the subject of interesting hybrids, here's one. Think
IDM ala Mouse on Mars crossed with a sort of Japanese Bjork - less
obtrusive vocals, more quirky arrangements, a pinch of Pizzicato 5 but just
in spurts and there you have it.
Too weird to fit comfortably anywhere, but quite cool and fun because of
it. Sounds fairly innocent and uncontrived. If you can't take a bit of pop,
you won't like them. If you can't take unorthodox arrangements which are
definitely informed by the IDM landscape, forget it.
