Geez.
The tracklisting for the Takeshi Muto cd, _Expect More From A Past
Life_, is all messed up. This is how it *should* read:
1. Phase Inv
2. Cyme
3. Tape Birth
4. Mud Dauber
5. Mello.Me
6. Zaurus (edit)
7. CPU
8. Fuqpulga
9. Ntak
10. 7me7a
Tracks 1, 2, and 5 are a bit shorter than the versions that appear on
the original records they came from. Just by a few seconds - they have been
faded-out instead of leaving their original endings intact. Not that big of
a deal.
Track 6 has over a minute of its ending chopped off and then faded out.
It's defintely an edited version of the original track.
Tracks 6 and 7 are listed as the wrong songs altogether. Correct me if
I'm wrong, but I'm going by the tracklisting on the _Sixto Novaton_ ep by
Metic.
And why is it credited as being a Takeshi Muto release? Half of the
songs are by Metic, and the other half by Takeshi Muto. It's my
understanding that Takeshi Muto is the alias for Romulo Del Castillo, while
Metic is Romulo Del Castillo with Paul Lloyd.
The Metic songs are tracks 1, 2, 3, 6, and 7.
The Takeshi Muto songs are tracks 4, 5, 8, 9, 10.
There were more than enough previously-released vinyl-only Takeshi Muto
tracks to fill up a cd. It could have looked like this:
1. Hexose
2. Mud Dauber
3. Mello.Me
4. Fuqpulga
5. Ntak
6. Sku
7. 7me7a
8. Mud Dauber (wattle & daub)
9. Mud Dauber (recomposed by pbo)
Just thought some folks might want to know.
