Yo,
Imagine my surprise yesterday, as, sitting in a kebab shop awaiting
faux-Turkish nourishment and watching dire Australian soap opera
'Neighbours', I witnessed one clean cut young character (who is currently
making waves as a DJ, due to his revolutionary stance of playing old funk
and soul in his house sets) chastise another with the exclamation "Hey, this
Squarepusher CD you sold me is all scratched!".
Unfortunately, his companion did not respond with a reply along the
lines of "Nah, that's just a lot of dsp fuckery and the general insane
syncopation of old jungle breaks. You're so 2001!"
That would have been strange...
