GEMM isn't a seller per se, but more like a compendium of sellers...or rather a forum for separate sellers. Therefore, it's a crapshoot , the results of which depend upon the individual seller with whom you deal. I have grabbed MANY an otherwise impossible to find gem through GEMM. For every disappointment, I have a handful of happy endings to offer. My modus operandi is this : before I will bid on ebay (or if the price gets high), I will check half.com and GEMM to see if I can get the item in question for a lower cost. Also, since stock changes and more sellers come and go via GEMM, I find myself checking back there often. Been using them for years; the feedback system (those stars next to the seller) serves to let you know if the seller is one of the stores which simply lists everything as "in stock" and never updates their inventory (e.g., Rockhouse). jeff --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
