yeah, i've used gemm from time to time. it's not too bad, but
the main problem is that all these little record shops who
list their catalogues don't seem to ever update them--so when
you order, you often find out later that they no longer have
what you're looking for. i've taken to calling or emailing
vendors directly to ask them to check their catalog before
i place an order for something rare.
it's not so much like ebay in that there's no bidding--the prices
for things are preset by the vendors.
