Well, more like musician ID help.
Listening to the local indie radio station yesterday I heard a song that
was called "Ok Scorpio" from an album named "The Sound of Music," but I
never did hear who did it. I think the DJ said that it was a french
female who also did some producing and remixing.
It had some shimmery, organ-like textures over what was almost a hip-hop
sort of beat. In the middle there were some female vocals, and at some
point what sounded like a real live electric bass player popped up.
If anyone knows about this, I'd also like to know if it is actually as
fantastic as it sounded on the AM band of a shitty radio, outside, in a
fairly noisy area.
And if you know it, and it's great, where can I order it? I've already
searched around pretty thoroughly with the info I have, but I can't find
anything.
