i was wondering if you all could tell me a little more about Manitoba. How
would you describe the music, etc...?
i recently burned a friend a copy of four tet - pause. i wanted an easy way
to clip the tracklisting to e-mail.com, so i rolled over to amazon.com.
simple enough. but then, out of curiousity, i had to read amazon's review
of the album (it was good thankfully). anyway, in the midst of the album
they said something like "Manitoba is easily this album's equal."
so, is the style in the four tet vein, or is it something else entirely?
i vaguely remember listening to a Manitoba release in a record shop about a
year ago and thinking, wow this is total shit. but, i'm thinking that might
be a faulty memory - i'm probably confusing it with some other artist.

I completely agree with you on this one.. i only recently realized
that the CD-EP had a video included. It's a video for the excellent
remix. Now if i could locate the other Manitoba materials, i'll be
pretty happy.. --considering that Dundas, Ontario is only about
3 hours north from my home town of Windsor, Ontario. 0_0
